In the wake of new year, allow me to open this thread that will maybe nudge some pople to come out of hiding.

So whats up? What are you guys up to? What games are you playing, if any? How much has your hype level dropped for Earthrise?

Mine is at its all time low tbh, but its still buzzing a bit  Grin

Miaow! I'm still here, hope you guys all had a great christmas =)

Hype level... likewise, waiting for some interesting developments, activity on the forum seems to have dropped off dramatically - I'm hoping this is because there's something big on the horizon and MH are making sure it's spot-on before telling the rest of us ^^

Same pretty much goes for all of us I think.  I try to check the forums on a weekly basis, mostly I just check up on the announcements and then the NERF section.  Honestly I know everything I want to about ER, or at least enough to ensure that I play the game when it comes out.  Other than that my interest is only what goes on with everyone.

I wish our IRC chat was a little more active, though I can't really be one to complain since I hardly go on there anymore as it is.

To answer your questions Alucard, I'm not really up to much lately.  Games are still pretty much the same ones I've been playing, other than games I've been getting into racquetball.

So how has everyone's holidays been going? Having a good time and relaxing I hope.

You are correct sir, quite relaxing indeed  Grin

But New Years will be a bust, will be rainy and I will be forced to find a shelter or something. Meh, just need to find the right party I guess Oo

Woohoo a new thread.....

Things are up and down (just like the weather) in beautiful Seattle:

Found to have cancer, now its cured.
Arthritis was fixed, now its not and I am walking around like one legged man.
Had some paying roomates, now they are leaving.
Got a raise but am utterly bored at work.
Was playing Champions Online, until it showed its contentless colors.
Started on the Closed Beta for Star Trek Online, its just rinse and repeat kill missions.

Level of interest in Earthrise is still very very high.

Eh..

Got my account hacked on WoW first day of Winter Fest/Veil/Whatever, got it all back in order two days before it ended so there went my achieves. Raided ICC, Wanted to man the cannons in the gunship fight, but that got handed over to healers so I got to jet around and get knocked out by the Chuck-Norris-wannabe on their ship (Long live Saurfang, the real Chuck Norris of WoW!). Up next its Kid-Norris and his horrible magic ranged cleaves!

Got a Wii, been playing No More Heroes on that, hella fun, one parent seems worried about how the game handles saving itself (you save while on the toilet, nothin wrong with that).
Demon's Souls had its All-White world tendency event, went to the first world, but gosh darnit no Executioner chick was around.

Finally completed my Xeno-series (Xenosaga Freaks is out of the question sadly, japan-only, same as the DS game), still haven't beaten any of the Saga games.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Holy shieeet its a good sonic game, but falls under the same issue Sonic Adventure had. I.E. Bigs the Cat and the game forcing you to use him (Ignorance is bliss, and apparently it means he can pass through lethal sh** like it was nothing).

In other news, I might have too many PS2 games, current count is 63 or so, while my PS3 is behind even my number of Dreamcast games, with just only 9 (reminds me I need to get Killzone 2 back from my friends, been dieing to play that again).

Thats whats up with me =P

Got myself a job and started to work in Tokyo from October, have been terribly inactive here since then I'm afraid :S

Good news is that I probably will have quite a lot of time to play Earthrise when it comes, as it doesn't seem as if I will be doing that much overtime. Bad news is that I will probably continue to stay pretty inactive until the game is about to be released, but I'll be sure to drop in now and then and check how it goes.

Ninjin out!

Ahh, been waiting for the "Return to Ostragar" DLC to release before I really started playing that game! Got it for christmas, bought the Warden's Tower DLC, but ended up spending the rest of the points on other games (Lost Odyssey mainly). Been meaning to play it though, but rogue galaxy, MW:2, and NMH is dictating me =P

As for Noein, never heard of it! But now I have, and natural curiosity is taking effect and I will promptly look into it! =P

and lucky you Nin, the job market is a bitch in the US, specially where I'm at (second the auto industry started going downhill, every other job was snatched up!). And do watch out for Tenshi, she may or may not be as dangerous in person as she is on here! =O

Naw I ain't neglecting it, I played it a bit christmas weekend to unlock the tower and thus the party chest, but stopped cause my friend was over and we ended up playing other games heh.
And actually, the DLC was due today, but apparently delays have occurred so it most likely will be out tomorrow or within the week! Woo for storming an area full of dark evil creatures that somehow my dog doesn't get sick of biting them!

And yeah, I just read about that yesterday, not all that sure yet about it. Its great they are continuing the game further past DLC, but 40$ seems a bit steep if what I've heard about it only adding in 15hrs to the story. Oh well, my friend's going to get it most likely, and we practically share games so if he gets it, I'll be able to play it!

And who knows... we do suspect her to be of a master ninja level... perhaps she is lurking in the digital shadows, between all the 0s and 1s, waiting to through a 2 into our computer and blow its electric mind!

I hear you there Seishi, took me forever to find a job.  The one I have now is partly due to family connections and partly due to luck (they needed some cheap labor fast).

And do watch out for Tenshi, she may or may not be as dangerous in person as she is on here! =O

I have to agree with Alucard, I've sent her a message or two over the last 6 months but she hasnt responded.  Which reminds me, one of my friends is on vacation in Japan right now, if you see two pasty white kids (one is 19 and is my friend and his older brother who is teaching over there) tell them hi for me will you ;P .... come to think of it I forgot to warn him about Tenshi as well...
