How many types of industrial of and commercial buildings will be available for players to construct when they own/capture a piece of land?
What value, if any, will these structures have beyond the needs of the governing guild which controls them?
What impact, if any, will faction affiliation have on these buildings?
What impact, if any, will these structures have on our faction besides the price of resources?

In terms of servers will they be localized and seperated between USA and Europe and Asia?

They've kind of already answered this if I remember correctly. The goal was to have a single unified game world across the globe that all players participate in but they do realize that it may be necessary to have geographical servers like for Europe, North America, Asia, et cetera.
That was in one of the interviews a month or two ago.

on the topic of Rare Resources
Will they be available as quest rewards?
Will they dropped from boss mobs?
Will players be able to personally mine them from a territory? or will the mine build by the guild be the only way to get resources from a territory?
Will a player be able to go into a territory owned by some one else and mine the resources that territory produces?
Will a player be able to go into a territory owned by some one else and attack or pillage just the mines to gain resources?
Basically is rare resource gainable through any means other then territory contorl?
on the topic of looting apon death
It was said players could spend money to protect gear apon death from being looted.
Will you be able to protect resources your carring apon death or will resources always be lootable?

Looting. In almost every MMO out there you could be fighting a Super Boss mob with Bad Arse armor a sweet helm and a big Weapon of some sort, or even a lowly peon who has tattered leather clothes a small shield and a butter knife But when they are defeated All they have is maybe some coin and a item you never saw on them. Its not like they have some special invisible back pack that just so happens to contain a 12 ft magical lance.
I guess what I getting at is:
"Will your looting system have a complete physical loot system? I kill them they are dead on the ground I want their boots and their vest and belt."
The last game I played that had a System showed everything they have on them. Was SSI's Pool a radience. I couldn't tell you how many suits of leather I sold to the mearchant. LOL
Heck, maybe that could even be a skill thing if you have a good search skill you notice in their vest there is a hidden pocket.

my particular interest is RaynerApe's comment stating that a skill will have no passive effect, followed up by stating skill will unlock passive bonuses... I'd like a clarification: My best guess is this means that, inherently, going from Level 34 to 35 in a skill won't do anything, *but*, if there is a passive bonus available at level 35, it becomes unlocked. For a generic example, consider a weapon skill that at level 35 has a passive bonus "+5% to locking speed with this weapon". The player levels from 33 to 34, and recieves (more or less) nothing. the player then levels to 35 in that particular skill, and recieves a passive (always active) bonus to that weapons. Is this an accurate interpretation of that statement?

As items decay, they can be repaired but despite their durability returns to maximum, their quality will deteorate slowly. Eventually, every item will get useless and will have to be scrapped.
What exactly would deal damage to an "item" instead of dealing damage to a "player"? Will there be "random" damage to, say weapons and other equipment? or perhaps a specific type of equipment that degrades enemy equipment?

I've got a question regarding loot as well.
It was mentioned in the previous HoC chat that...
"...you might stumble on rare replica or powerful modded variant that will give you an edge."
My questions are:
1. Will there be loot components available that will allow player crafted items to be on par with these powerful modded variants or rare replicas?
2. If not, will crafted weapons ever be as good as these looted rares?
3. Are these rares dynamically distributed throughout the mobs with a higher % chance of being dropped on bosses?
4. Are bosses going to be statically located or will they move about large territories to prevent mob whoring?
5. Back to these rares for a moment; can they be stripped down by a crafter and reproduced either exactly and/or with whatever mods the crafter has access to?

My questions aren't so much about the game mechanics or features as actual programming.
I'm an Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) user. WINE has been good to me for most of my gaming needs but in terms of Update Manager and Hack Guards that use the .net framework I have had quite a hard time getting things to work properly.
1) I was wondering if there will be easy portability to MONO
2) Does the game use OpenGL (hence better support on WINE) or Direct3D?
though I'm fairly certain you're using Direct3D...
